In 1978 Pelsall began to tour the West
Country each Spring Bank Holiday. These are a family affair
with wives, children and friends going along. The resort
of Brean is used as a base and caravans are used for accommodation,
as freedom of time is essential to enable families to leave
on time for various matches. Regular hosts of Pelsall are:
Ashcott & Shapwick, Claverham, Winscombe, Bohemians,
Flaxbourton, Mendip Acorns, Midsomer Norton. The majority
of tour games have been exciting with the weather playing
its part.
In 1984 Pelsall returned home undefeated and over the years
some good personal performances have been recorded:
